2/8 Jay’s Nunchaku Action Drive Him to Play in Martial Arts Film -

The martial arts in "Jin Yi Wei" is still in trend, while this year, another martial arts film (True Legend - Yi Qi Er ) will be release tomorrow (2/9). This film is directed by "the best world martial arts fingers" Yuen Woo-Ping. This film, besides accumulate a lot of stars like Vincent Zhao, Zhou Xun, Jay Chou, Michelle Yeoh and so on, the most interesting part is the 20 minutes of 3D martial arts scenes.

Few days ago, Yuen Woo-Ping through a telephone interview said that there was a great progress in action film recently, it's much better than before, so this have given a great impact in making martial arts film.

Yuen Woo-Ping said, as a matter of fact, for the first time the actor chosen to play in "True Legend - Su Qi Er) was Donnie Yen. "But he was too busy; he has few films to play by that time." So the choice came to Vincent Zhao. About choosing Jay Chou to play "God of Martial Arts – Wu Shen", it's because of the "Fearless" MTV's impact. When the first time I watched the "Fearless" MTV, I felt that Jay's was plaing Nunchaku very well.

The reporter asked Yuen Woo-Ping who is the next generation of martial arts star. Yuen Woo-Ping said, "It's not me who can say that who will be the next Jacky Chen, Jet Li, Donnie Yen." But Yuen Woo-Ping is so optimist for Wu Ching's future. If Wu Ching play in some more films and get more experience, he will be great martial arts stars in the future.
